Hey June Policies and Procedures
Hey June is happy to offer store credit on the return of its jewelry. To qualify for the return the piece must be purchased online, shipped to a U.S. address, and purchased within 30 days of the day the return is initiated. On custom made pieces (necklaces or bracelets) there is a $4 restock fee that will be deducted from the amount of store credit you receive.
To initiate a return please email customer service email@example.com with your order number and your name and we will get that process started for you.
We are happy to exchange an item if it has been within 30 days of the original purchase. To exchange the item, we ask that you follow the steps for the return listed above and then repurchase the item that you want.
DEFECTIVE OR BROKEN JEWELRY (LESS THAN 30 DAYS FROM PURCHASE)
If your jewelry is defective, scratched or breaks within the first 30 days of purchase we will gladly replace the item. Please email customer service firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and a picture of the defective item to initiate this process. To qualify for the item to be replaced, you must email us within 30 days of purchase of the item.
FIXING A NECKLACE (MORE THAN 30 DAYS FROM PURCHASE)
If it has been more than 30 days since purchase, you can pay for a minimal fix it fee and we can fix your necklace in the following ways:
- Fix a chain if it has broken at the jump ring or the clasp
- Replace a faulty or broken clasp
If a necklace is broken in the middle of the chain, we can not fix it and you will need to repurchase.

Please include your first and last name, order number, and what the problem is with the necklace. By purchasing the fix it fee, you agree to send the necklace in to us within 14 days of purchase of the fix it fee. If you do not do this the order will automatically archive and you will need to repurchase the fix it fee.
Once we receive the product, we will fix the item and send it back to you.
All of our gold-filled jewelry is anti-tarnish. That means with the proper care it will retain its color and shine. Please read our jewelry care article (link here) for information on how to keep your pieces looking pristine for the longest amount of time possible.
If your jewelry tarnishes we offer the following dependent on the amount of time since purchase:
Within 30 days: We will replace the item at no cost to you
30-90 days: We will offer a one time use code to replace the item at 50% of its original cost
90+ days: We ask that customers are responsible for replacing their own items
CANCELLING AN ORDER
You may cancel an order and receive a full refund if our team has not started fulfilling the item yet. To cancel the item please email email@example.com with your order number.
If we have started working on the item, we will not be able to cancel the item. Many of our pieces are custom made and if any part of that process has started, we are no longer able to cancel the item.
CHANGING AN ADDRESS
You may change your address if we have not shipped your item yet. If the package has already been shipped, we will have to wait for the package to return to us and then you can pay for us to reship it to the correct address.
ADDING LENGTH TO A NECKLACE
Wrong necklace length - option 1 buy extender
Option 2 - send back for store credit minus $4 restocking fee
If you need extra length on a necklace, your best option is to buy an extender here. (link extender)
If you want a different length than the two inches the extender allows you, you can return the necklace to us and repurchase the necklace you want. You will need to initiate a return and you will be charged a $4 restocking fee. You may then go and repurchase the item in the length that you want. See our return for information on how to do this. This process must be initiated within 30 days of when you receive your necklace.
